Andreina Bello is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience as a Play Therapist/Child Counselor, Teen Counselor, Adult Therapist, Family Counselor, Parenting and Co-parenting Therapist, Marriage and Couple’s Therapist, Life Coach, and is also approved as a Qualified Supervisor by the State of Florida to supervise Mental Health Counselors as they work towards their licensure requirements.
Andreina has extensive experience and training using a cognitive behavioral (CBT) approach, which is extremely effective in treating disorders such as anxiety, depression, marital problems, and many other emotional, relational, or mental health struggles. She is also trained in the use of Motivational Interviewing (MI), a powerful short-term/ brief solution-based intervention to help clients who have difficulties with ambivalence, lack of motivation, apathy, and insecurities. Ms. Bello also enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families, utilizing play therapy and Art Therapy when appropriate.
Ms. Bello also utilizes Trauma Focused Therapy (TF-CBT), one of the most effective types of therapy for treating most forms of trauma and most types of abuse. Ms. Bello specializes in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) adding to her expertise in treating trauma. Ms. Bello is also trained in the use of Narrative Therapy (NT) to help people form a healthy separation from their problems, identify their values and skills, and rely on their existing skills or develop new critical skills to minimize problems and confront life's challenges. For clients struggling with culturally related issues or in culturally diverse situations where issues of race, ethnicity, or culture influence their problems or life circumstances, Andreina has extensive experience in taking a Multicultural Therapeutic approach when appropriate. She is also fluent in English and Spanish.
Ms. Bello takes a solution focused approach addressing problems such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, communication issues, behavior problems, anger management/ frustration tolerance issues, emotional regulation struggles, impulse control issues, focus issues, ADHD issues, self-esteem, trauma, transitions struggles (new home, new school/job, new child), grief and loss issues, parenting/co-parenting issues, marriage issues, separation/divorce problems, bi-polar disorder, school problems, peer problems, bullying problems, work problems, social skills struggles, relationship problems, sexuality and identity issues, abuse issues (emotional, physical, sexual), risky behaviors, substance abuse, dual diagnoses, schizophrenia, domestic violence, women’s issues, cultural issues, and other challenges that may affect the emotional, relational, and mental health state of the individual or family unit.
In addition to therapy services, Ms. Bello now offers comprehensive psychological evaluations for immigration cases, including Hardship Waivers, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), U-Visa, and Asylum evaluations. These assessments are conducted with cultural sensitivity, clinical accuracy, and in alignment with legal standards to support individuals and families navigating the immigration process.
Prior to obtaining her master's degree from Troy State University and becoming a licensed Mental Health Counselor in Orlando, Ms. Bello obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language in Caracas, Venezuela. She taught English Classes at the Venezuelan/American Center to teenagers and adults from 1998 to 2004.
When she is not pursuing continuous education and seeking supervision to remain sharp in her field, Ms. Bello spends her free time paddleboarding in various locations in Florida, as well as learning about new cultures and languages.

Ms. Bello is currently in-network with Aetna, Humana, and several other smaller insurance companies. She can also bill out-of-network benefits for United, CIGNA, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and most other insurance companies that allow out-of-network benefits. Ms. Bello also accepts self-pay/pay for services/ out of pocket. For those who have difficulty paying the full price for services, Ms. Bello provides financial assistance through a sliding scale when needed/appropriate.
